Call To Book
Where history and elegance come together. Stay with us at the Tillie Pierce House Inn.
Circa 1829 the Inn was named after Matilda J. Pierce who at the age of fifteen witnessed the battle of Gettysburg in 1863. Tillie provided food and water to the soldiers and assisted in caring for the wounded. Twenty-five years later she wrote a book called At Gettysburg Or What a Girl Saw and Heard of the Battle recounting her experiences of the battle.
